Book of Treasures
Unlock the ancient manuscript by forming words and opening the golden book. Here's a short clip on the game!
Reviewer: Cherie G. Title: Book of Treasures
Book of Treasures is a true challenge for the word nerds. The game has a good backstory. A librarian found out that there's a secret mystery among the books in the library. Pieces of a map providing a clue of ancient treasures are hidden within golden books in the library. Your task is to uncover these books by forming words out of scrambled letters.
Challenging, but not frustratingly difficult, Book of Treasures, allows you to level up without needing to find all the words in a level. You just need to come up with a high enough average score to pass on to the next level. The real challenge, however is acquiring the golden books.
Since the golden books are picked out at random (and it will only be until the end of the level that you'll know which one contains the piece of the map), you may not be able to get it if you don't find all the words. There might be words that you missed out but could also be the golden book. You can't get the clue unless you have guessed the word containing the golden book.
If you're really eager complete to complete the clue, you can shuffle the letters and find all the words and that will help you get the golden books more easily. But even then, successfully completing the words is still not a gimme, as there is a time constraint.
I give this game 4 out of 5. It's a classic game of words and clues and mysteries - and I love it. It is challenging and sometimes, nerve-wracking. It's also a great spelling and vocabulary exercise.
